   2018 On October 19, Zhuzhou Kingtal Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. was awarded the national-level “Green Factory” title in the third batch of green manufacturing enterprises announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. This also makes The company has become the first in the cemented carbide industry and the second in Zhuzhou City to receive this honor.

       A “Green Factory” is a factory that achieves land-use intensification, harmless raw materials, clean production processes, resource recovery of waste, and low-carbon energy consumption. To be eligible for selection, a Green Factory must, while ensuring product functionality, quality, and occupational health and safety of workers throughout the production process, adopt a life-cycle approach, prioritize the use of green raw materials, processes, technologies, and equipment, meet comprehensive standard requirements, and continuously pursue improvement.

For a long time, the company has regarded energy conservation, emission reduction, and comprehensive resource utilization as crucial means for transforming its development model, enhancing development efficiency, and strengthening its international competitiveness. It has consistently adhered to a dual approach—combining source control with end-of-pipe treatment. The company has made great efforts to adjust its product structure, accelerate industrial transformation and upgrading, and build a green manufacturing system that is highly efficient, clean, low-carbon, and circular, placing it at the forefront of the cemented carbide industry. This award is a recognition of the company’s ongoing efforts in these areas.
